Recently, we experienced something that no parents want to experience...time spent in the hospital with a sick child. We were there with our sweet Isaac for 5 days. Of course, we were scared and our hearts broke for his discomfort. Despite those emotions we were reminded of God's goodness and faithfulness and of the peace that only he can give. It's funny how God uses the low moments in life to help us remember these truths of His character. We were humbled by the prayers for our little guy, many being prayed by complete strangers! It was a true comfort knowing that Isaac was in his Father's arms and that we could rest there as well.
I am slowly being overrun with boys...and I love it! I am married to Matthew ~ my dream come true. He loves, provides, nutures, protects with a consistency that humbles me. And, with no one do I laugh more. Joshua is 4 1/2 and a thinker. He observes (for a very long time) and then acts ~ he is shy. :) He pulls very random stuff out of his little head ~ I love it. Jake is 2 and a go-getter. He is adventurous, independent and a sweet-heart. Isaac (Croc) is 2 weeks old. I love seeing how he is changing each day. And, I LOVE watching his brothers love on him. I can't even imagine the joy and the fun that is coming.
